Kylee's First Tooth-GONE!!
Kylee lost her first tooth Friday. It would move all the way forward but wouldn't move backward. She loved to play with it and was excited it was going to come out very soon. Then she would say, "I heard a noise"! When she got home from school she said, "mom feel it". I pushed it forward (thought to myself here I go) it wasn't connected to anything in the back so I kept pushing down and it flipped out onto the floor (for those concerned-no Kylee didn't cry). Kylee was laughing and ran to the bathroom to see what she looked like without tooth. Now you get to see how cute she is without tooth!!!

Visit to GG'S and Grampy's Birthday!
This past Sunday we went to visit GG (great-grandma). Aaron picked up the pizza and we ate, the kids ran up and down her hill, and rode their scooters around while the adults visited. GG told us stories about growing up and how she had a successful marriage-people today need to learn to "give and take" things and in a good marriage their is always one that tends to sway their decision with their spouse for a compromise.

Then on Tuesday we all met up and Grampy's for a small 70th birthday party. Grammy coming home was the biggest surprise to him.
The kids carried in his present--a telescoping Flag Pole.

Mother's Day!
Austin woke me up with a hug and said, "Happy Mother's Day". I thought that was so thoughtful, and a great way to start my day. Then he was off to his moms. The other three then came in and laid with me for awhile. Then we went down stairs the kids made a Happy Mother's Day Banner and had it up in the window and we opened gifts. I love HOMEMADE GIFTS!!!!!!

Mike and Tyler did a killer job on breakfast. Tyler made me a happy face of strawberries to start off. Then onto the main course-a mushroom, bacon, green pepper cheese omelet, with biscuts and gravy and a side of fruit on a homemade place mat-YUM!!!!
Then relaxed...put photos in my album that I haven't done for over a year. I felt a little more organized. Then off to my mom's for dinner!

Kylee's Day!
We always start off the day with the famous morning photo. Austin already left for school, so he is missing:(

When she got home from school I painted her nails and her toes. Then we curled her hair to get ready for her date with dad and me.
We have birthday parties every other year. So this year we got to just take Kylee to dinner. We went to Chili's. She got all dolled up with her new necklace from Grandma Jo and sun glasses from Tyler and was ready to go.....
It was fun just talking with her and seeing what she likes to do in school and learn about her friends.

Then they brought dessert----oh yes it was as yummy as it looks!!!
We came home and had more cake and ice cream with the neighbors and the boys. She is very special to our family!!

Kylee is now 6!!!!!!!
For a week now we have heard, "I am going to be a 6 year older". Kylee is such a wonderful girl. Her imagination is incredible to me. I love to see what she comes up with. She plays with her My Little Ponies forever and is so quiet in her room we have to go check to see if she fell asleep.
She has been getting really bad headaches lately and she says "Mom please pray for me". I am so happy that she knows to rely on God for situations she or I can't control.
This Past Year:
Loves performing, graduating for preschool,
Major daddy's girl!

Learned to ride a two wheeler! Yes on this small bike!
Started Kindergarten!
Played soccer for the first time--nickname RHINO!
Happy Birthday, Kylee!
We love you!!!

OUR MOM'S!!!!!
Today I had the pleasure of having a one on one breakfast with MY MOM! It was great to sit and talk about whatever we wanted without interupption!
Just a few reasons why I love MY MOM!
She has brought Jesus Christ into my life.
She has the most loving and selfless heart. Her amazing love for her grand kids.
Her loving and caring relationship with my dad.
She is always there to listen.
She has a shoulder for me to lean on or cry on.
Her patience to raise 6 kids and still be completely sane.
I love MY MOM, and feel so blessed to have such a close relationship with her.
Mike's mom lives in Seattle. So we don't get to see her much. She comes to visit at least once a year. She makes our kids feel so loved (and very spoiled). She calls and makes sure everyone is doing well (making sure Mike is treating me RIGHT!). She is there for me to talk to or vent to anytime. We (I) wished you lived closer to see you more often. The kids always ask, "When is grandma coming down again?" We love you!!! Jo, we hope you have a great Mother's Day, we miss you!!
Mike's stepmom June lives in Running Springs. She has been apart of Mike's life since he was a little boy. It is hard to be a stepmom, but she loved Mike through the good times and through ROUGH times. She has been there for me when I needed help from another stepmom who has gone through some of the same things. We love June!
Happy Mother's Day to you all, we love you!!

Kylee's Backyard Circus!!
Tyler was at a friends house, and Mike and I were working in the backyard---so my kids can't just play they have to PERFORM!!!
So all of a sudden we hear, "Ladies and gentlemen take your seat for the greatest circus ever". Kylee is the performer in all the acts---she is so fun to watch.
The acrobat-with an added stunt, Jacob swinging the glider (not suppose to be part of the show), the acrobatic was very upset with this, but did a great job.
