This Past Week!

Tyler finished his Acrodance class, and had a small performance. I am trying to get the video on here but it is not working. This is how Tyler ended his solo and stayed in this position while the other kids finished their solos.

The acrobatics part he did a head stand and this another funky pose!
Jacob is obsessed with "BIKES" he says this word all day. He sees every single one we pass on the freeway going the same way as us and the ones going in the opposite direction-it amazes me. I just keep hearing "BIKE, mom BIKE". He loves to ride around with daddy.

Makeover Success!!!!

I finished the room makeover about 15 minutes before Mike arrived. I had a break down at 6:15, knowing Mike was on his way home from Del Mar and still had the whole lower half of the wall to paint. The kids could not get along for anything, Jacob wanted to be held. My saving grace was my friend Ali who showed up at 6:30 and helped me finish painting the wainscoting (done at 7:45), pictures went up and Mike walked in at 8:10.

There are still a few accessories I would like to get but the main part is done. Mike loved it!!

Women's Retreat!!

This past weekend I went on a retreat with the women at our church up to Twin Peaks (which is just below Lake Arrowhead). This was the first one I have gone on--and it was amazing. I left Friday afternoon and came home Sunday afternoon. Mike had the weekend off so I didn't have to worry about the kid's, which was nice.
This is two of my amazing close friends from church and me when we arrived on Friday.

The weekends focus was on having a "New Attitude". Everything we do in life is affected by our attitude and how we choose to react to the different things that happen. We can hold on to the bad things that have come our way and live a miserable and hurtful life, or forgive and let go, like our Savior did for us.

It was so peaceful and quiet. To relax and be able to focus on His will in my life and not have any interruptions.

This was our group:
On the way down the hill we stopped for lunch and one last deep breath before going home. This is what I arrived to:

The kids came running out gave me a HUGE hug and told me they missed me. The house was spotless and even the bathrooms were totally clean. The laundry was done. It was so peaceful and nice to just lay and talk with my hubby and and kids-------then things went back to our CrAzY lifestyle about 45 minutes later.
However, I wouldn't change it for anything. I am so blessed to have a great husband who would do anything for me and my kids who think of me and are very thoughtful. They may have their fights and messes around the house, but I was blessed to have children and they are my world. I thank God for that everyday!!

The Question has been Popped!!

It is Prom time at Cajon High School. Austin had a picture of him made into a puzzle and wrote on it "Will you go to Prom with me?". Then put each piece into a balloon. He blew up 75 balloons and put them in her room for her to pop and put the puzzle together. I didn't get a picture of that sorry. So then Austin was waiting for the response---------
Erica wrote yes on a bunch of paper and spelled out "YES" on the wall. Then scattered the rest all over his room and taped more onto the wall! (Austin wouldn't appreciate a whole picture of his room:/)
This is their CHEESEY FACE!

Update!!!!

Today is Read Across America and the kids are celebrating Dr. Seuss's Birthday. Therefore, they get to wear red, black and white and bring their favorite Dr. Seuss book. Tyler likes to go all out--white hair and black spots.

Jacob said, "Me", this is how cute he is when he wakes up!

This past weekend I got together with this ladies. We all went to Stork Elementary School, Junior High and graduated High School together. We try to get together every couple months. We met up at the Claim Jumper In Corona to catch up. We had a great time--we are missing one lady, we missed you Erica and seeing you sweet baby girl for the first time:(
