We never do things the easy way, only spur of the moment and quickly! So we took the swing set down 2 weeks ago, because we are trying to make room for the ramp Mike is going to build.
But it was Jacobs birthday and I wanted to have a few of his cousins over. So we needed it up for them to play. So Mike had 4 days to get it done.
Tues-Frame done and half of platform!

Birthday BOY!
Today was Jacob's 4th birthday! He is such a fun and exciting kid, but for the last two weeks since having his tonsils out life has been rough. He has no energy, he lays on the couch the majority of the day and it takes all he has to swallow. He finally warmed up to the idea of opening presents this morning....it started on the couch, then I got the classic morning photo=)

Then off to Grammy's and Grampy's for a little celebration, which ended up being a mistake! We had a great time, but Jacob through a huge and uncontrollable crying fit (which is not like him). So he needs stay home and rest. But yummy food and cake!

My Friend Dawn!
January 26th was Dawn's Birthday!! So Kendra (far left) and I took her out to celebrate!!
I am so very blessed to have her in my life! She helps me out with the kids when I am in a bind and always there to listen or hear me cry. I don't know what I would do without her!!

Tyler's Gymnastic Meet!
Tyler was asked to join the competitive team at Gymnastics. We were so excited and so was he. He is Level 4, so this is actually an introductory level for him to see the structure and know what a meet is about.
This past Saturday was his first time. Of course Mike and I were more nervous for him. he did an AWESOME job! The highest you can score is a 15 or 16 on the vault. He scored above 14.6 on all the events but the Pommel Horse which he hates but wants to conquer before next meet!

Watching their competition.
The rings, one of Tyler's favorite events!
Coach Ito giving them their ribbons!
Thank you Grammy and Grampy for keeping an eye on Kylee and Jacob for me=)
This was also the first time Tyler got to see the chickens, he was in heaven!! He named one of the Spike and didn't want to leave. Three days later he hasn't missed a chance to ask if he can go and sit with them!

Jacob's Procedure!
Today was Jacob's BIG DAY!!! He got tubes put in his ears, AGAIN...and had his adenoids and tonsils REMOVED!!!!

Luckily, Handy Manny was on and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...two shows he will watch. I tried to give him apple juice and he said, "MOM, wait till the house comes on and then I will take a little." I tried again and he said, "mom the house part is still on, wait." Happy to have the attitude back!!

Then the nurse came to take his IV out and he DID NOT like it at all!!! She was pushing on his hand and as soon as she left the room he started balling his head off, "it hurts my hand, the band aid hurts."
He was not very happy about putting on a gown with little teddy bears on it, plus he didn't like that his back side was showing! So we counted and looked at the BALLS that were on it instead!!!
Here they are taking his vitals and blood pressure-routine things!!
Dad and him playing with his Tech Decks to keep him pre-occupied!!
Jacob did great! He cried a little after he began to wake up from the anesthesia then was fine.
