Lights Up!!!

I can't believe it, but our Christmas lights are up!!!!!!! It is usually too windy right after Thanksgiving to do it, but not this year. The kids always like to go on the roof.

Kylee was so sweet she said, "Mom it's weird not having Austin up here with us, don't you think that is sad".

Our neighbor John was supervising us to make all went well, before getting back to his lights.

After the lights were up and since it was such a nice day we went to Victoria Gardens with our friends the Goveia's. The ladies were window shopping while guys took the kids to the get a snack. We came back to the family trying to hide--it was sooooo hard to find them:)

Then off to the Bass Pro Shop. FUN FUN FUN!!!!

The kids were excited to hear that Santa was there and Jacob finally loves him!

I never plan on these Santa visits so my kids are always rough looking. Kylee had a beanie on, so she has nice bangs.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009!!!!!

This Thanksgiving we spent it with Mike's Family in Highland!!! Yummy food and great conversation. Austin called--we put it on speaker phone so everyone could hear his voice and say Hi. He grubbed on apple pie, pumpkin pie, turkey and ham, mash potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and topped it off with visit to Krispie Kreme Donuts with his Battle Buddies. He comes home Dec. 18th and gets to stay until Jan. 11th. Then he reports to Fort Drumm, New York.

It has been so windy here in San Bernardino, that the kids were so happy to be able to play outside.

We have so much to be thankful for this year: Our Savior, family, Austin loving his experience in Basic Training (and coming home next month), our health, and great job, and so many dear and close friends just to name a few.

We hope you all had a great day with family and friends.

Lake Arrowhead Village!

I am not a mountain driver. I get car sick if I'm not driving, but am nervous to do the drive. My friend Joanna luckily grew up in Crestline and said she would join us for a day up at Lake Arrowhead.

It was very relaxing (somewhat:) to walk around in the fresh air, play at the park and drink hot cocoa. I especially enjoyed the time I spent with this wonderful young lady and her beautiful daughter, that we just love to pieces.

November Fun!!

A couple a weeks ago we had the wonderful privilege on having Lilly for day to play, play and play.....the finger paint museum by Kylee and using cookie cutters on a huge rice krispie by Tyler.....

This past Monday was the last Monday I would have all the kids at my house before they go back to school. So why not do CRAZY HAIR DAY........

My kids can't just ride their scooters and skateboards they need ramps. Jacob is always more then willing to be the first to try it out......

Exciting Mondays with Aunt Aimee!!!!

I have the privilege of watching my niece Averi, and nephews Owen and Wade on Mondays. They are all off track so we planned to have themed Mondays. The first one was-wear your costumes:

The second Mon. they were at their Aunt Molly's house, so they came for a quick visit on Thurs.. There is never a dull moment at my house, my neighbor came over with this wonderful creature that he caught in his backyard.

This past Monday we had a Tea Party!!!

The kids used their best manners (tried to anyways).




Then of course a dance party with quiet peaceful music......
