What happened to my chunky little boy!!!

Jacob is always into something or wanting to help, whether it be laundry or cooking. He always has a smile on his face and anyone can see how much he loves life.

We are truly blessed and thankful that the Lord has brought this sweet, loving, crazy little stunt man into our lives.

My Good Friend, Dawn's Birthday!!

My good Dawn is celebrating her *^th birthday!! So a few of us girls took her to Universal City Walk to have lunch, laugh and shop:)

I am very blessed and thankful to have Dawn in my life. I can always count on her during my emotional ups and down, whether I'm sad, angry, need a good laugh or just need to drop off my kids, Dawn is always there. Dawn you are truly a blessing to me and so many others.

Lake Peyton!

Mike hasn't finished the drainage system just yet for the backyard so we have our very own Lake. Tyler as being dying to go splash and ride in it. Thursday was his lucky day, I let him go have fun.He actually took measurements to see how deep the water was--5 inches by sand box, 3 inches on grass and 2 inches on cement.

......

Then big daddy came home and said, "wow that is bad, I wonder if I just dig a trench what will happen"......... we now have our own little river in the front yard!!!

Sunday was a beautiful day! We always plan things to do as a family for the day, so we went to play tennis at Cal State San Bernardino.

Bless this little girl, she tried soooooo hard!!!!!!!

We took the training wheels off Jacob bike to see if he could to it.. HE DID!!!

But his only 2!!!

Aunt Toots is 50!!!!!!

This is Mike's sister Toots ("not the kind that come out your butt"). Tyler said that when he was two years old when we told him we were going to see Aunt Toots, so it has been an on going joke! This special lady is 50, you can't tell with all her energy and excitement for life! I am so blessed to have her has a sister-n-law and part of my life:)

Mike made the cake and boy was it yummy!!!!!!! ..........Jacob really enjoyed it:)

New Goal-More Family Time!

This year we really want to start doing more with the kids--hikes in the wash (which we have already done), going to the park, taking the bikes to the beach (Mike and I need to get one first) and camping trips. So we headed up to Lake Arrowhead for breakfast and stroll around the village.

Can Jacob ever have a sweet face? I know there is one in every family!

On the way home we stopped by Grandma and Grandpa's house in Running Springs for a short visit!

While Austin was home he really wanted to get a puppy. Mike told the kids when the shed was done we can look into getting a dog. Well the shed has been done for a year and now with Austin pushing it, Mike has been looking and has found the soon to be Peyton Dog.............a boxer!!!!!!!

Mike, Jacob and Tyler went to see him last week. Kylee and I wanted to see him, so we then drove up to Hesperia to check this little guy out. He is only 3 weeks old, so we have to wait until Feb. 10th to bring him home. The kids are so excited. Agreeing on a name is now the problem.
