NOT!!!! The kids were at Stacey's (so I could finish packing), I was on the phone, the car partly loaded, Austin asleep on my bed---and Mike walks in. We finish packing, grab the kids and off to get gas.
"Mom my tooth really hurts", says Ty. "You will survive".
Ty replies, "Oh no, this just fell out of my tooth" as he hands something to Mike. "It's his filling".
So after getting gas onto the dentist to fix the tooth.
He apparently fractured it into two pieces,
so they pulled it out.
Stopped in Redlands to leave Austin's truck there so Mike didn't have to drive all the way back home (Austin could only stay until Friday night because of his Army Games on Sat.) All good now we are on our way..........
We made it. Barbecued steaks and had baked potatoes. For dessert drum sticks.
Friday--Kylee had an upset belly ALL day, so I had to stay in with her while the others romped around town:(
I painted her toes and we watched movies.
She was up to swim for about 45 minutes when the gang came back--then back to the potty. This trip is just not going as planned.

It was cold so the boys had to work up a sweat before they joined us in the pool.

We went out to dinner that night (Kylee laid in the booth). Then we stopped at these cool rocks that were across the street from where we were staying. I had to take Kylee back to the room, while the others climbed:(

Then Mike drove Austin and Erica back to Redlands.
Saturday--We woke up Kylee is feeling good so we are off to the Alpine slides, the lake, and Discovery Center. The wind made it freezing. If we were home this is where you would find Jacob--eating starburst.

Mike, J and Tyler going up!! Jacob couldn't get enough "more" or "again" were the first words to come out of his mouth when they came down.

Then off to the park. Like I said earlier the wind made it so cold and unbearable to be outside. Tyler heard Mike say the word "HOT CHOCOLATE" and jumped up and BANGED his nose on a bar. He cut the top of his nose open and the blood was just coming out. Back to the hotel. We stopped the bleeding and got ice on it. Then he threw up.
After two more times of throwing up, I called the doctors and talked with my consoling nurse Stacey (yes, Stacey Bishop). Well by 7:00 that night he was still throwing up so off the ER we go........

The doctor's said he had a mild concussion, and had a CT head scan done to make sure there was nothing else wrong (it showed a sinus infection). He thought the scan was so cool.
Sunday--We were in no rush to leave. Tyler was feeling better so Mike took him to the Rec Room to play some games. On the way back he threw up again. So we just wanted to leave at this point. On the way back home we stopped at Mike's dad and June's house in Running Springs for a visit and lunch.
We had a great time, beside all the usual kids stuff that goes on. Thank you so much Mom and Dad for letting us use your Timeshare.
