Austin and Erica are Engaged!!!!!!!

The Lord has brought this amazing young lady into Austin's life. The started out as good friends sharing their thoughts and just being there for one another. That relationship grew into a relationship of trust and love.We are so PROUD of Austin and the young man he has become and the decisions he has made in his life.

These two are perfect for one another. They know they will face challenges in the future, but through their faith, prayer and their love for one another, they can over come anything and everything:)

We love you guys!!

Christmas Day, 2009:)

The kids woke up at 6:40 and laid with us in bed for a while then we came down stairs about 7:15. Jacob was so excited to see Austin this morning. Austin is the first person he ask for every morning, "wheres Autin?"
The kids attempt closing their eyes as they come down stairs so they can't see what Santa brought until after they get their stocking. That didn't work well Jacob.
Then they come running into the room to see what they got. I love their looks:)

After all presents are opened and they have gone crazy! Jacob said the prayer at breakfast, "Dear Heaven Farter, thank you for day. Eat food, and Autin home. Amen" How sweet is that. We got a little teary eyed on that one.

Then off to Grammy's and Grampy's. Kylee did a solo of Silent Night.
We had a very happy and blessed Christmas this year. Hope you all did too:)

Christmas Eve, 2009!

This year we were at Adam and Stacey's house to celebrate Christmas Eve. I love having my family together and having a family picture with all my kids (i missed that).

Stacey did an amazing job with the table center pieces. She had a sit for everyone.

Tyler played Jingle Bells on his trumphet and then the fun chaos>=}

Aaron's Christmas Mega Mix-we love to watch every year:).........cookies:)

Uncle Gery had a special gift for the kids, more of a challenge. He told them they have to complete this gift, take a picture of it and send it to him and win a prize. So of course they are all anxious to see what it was.
They have to find all the state quarters and the territories. The kids couldn't wait to get started...especially Tyler. We have the states completed, now we need the territories--WATCH OUT cousins!!!!!!!

We put out our cookies and lettuce for Santa and his Reindeer and sweet Jacob thought is was salad for him. He was devastated when we told him no:(

Now off to bed and wait for Santa to arrive!!!!!

Annual Christmas Caroling on Thoroughbred!

We go caroling every year down Thoroughbred to see the lights. We stop at every light post and sing a couple songs. We have been doing this for the past 16 or 17 years. We meet at my moms and head on over.

Kids are ready to sing their little hearts out!!!! so are Mike and Uncle Dave, can't you tell:)

We love having Steven join us and Erica and Austin are too cute:)....The 3 sisters!!

Tyler takes a picture with this Surfer Santa every year:)...............our group made up of family and friends:)

We take caroling very serious as you can see;} We love it and so do the kids.
