YIPEE!!!! Look at Austin and Erica!

We are so excited to finally talk and actually see Austin:) We both have Skype, so the kids were excited and Jacob was silly at first-covering up his face because he was embarrassed. So this is how these two look on Web Cam.

Friday is their Wedding Day! They are very excited. What makes it even more special for these two is Austins 2nd Platoon Cutthroats are ALL going to be there to support them:) Can't get more memorable then that. Love you guys and talk to you soon!

Our Jacob!

In this first video we just wanted Jacob to learn to turn his bike--he did very well.

Then 4 days later we took him out to see if he remembered how to do it and this is what we got. Gotta love this child!

Date Night and a Mission!!!

My sweet hubby gave Dawn and I invitations for a dinner date. It said kids are taken care of and be ready to be picked up at 6:30. It was nice to get dressed up and go out. It has been a long time since we have gone out:/

We went to Castaways in San Bernardino it was very quiet and nice. We laughed and laughed, I love this couple. Thank you Jay and Dawn for being great friends.

Then we got home to finish Tyler's San Luis Rey Mission:( Not really in the plan but knew we had to get it done.

My Workout Buddies!

So last Monday I was doing Yoga and had some little friends join me! I loved watching them, they were to cute!

Going Away/Happy 21st Birthday David!

Sunday we went out to Brea to wish our best to David as he is going to Basic Training for the Army and to celebrate his 21st birthday!

Aunt Katie is always so thoughtful she knew the kids were coming so she had plenty of goodies for them to play with! Kylee got all the guns. "Look, I'm a GUNNER like Austin".

The games continue a race of the airplanes, trucks and tanks. Wade just wanted to sit in middle of the race!

Erica's Bridal Shower!

So we started off our evening with this beautiful young lady at Chili's for dinner! The kids were very excited to be going with us.

While we were at dinner, Stacey and Dawn came over to get my house ready and all the goodies out. They did an amazing job. (THANK YOU SO MUCH:)

Erica started off the party with the first dip of chocolate!

Good friends from church who have supported Erica since she was little and have seen her grow up physically and spiritually. These ladies have also watched Austin and Erica friendship grow into a loving relationship.

Oh, the fun gum game!! Erica so willingly participated in. I asked Austin 21 questions and then I asked Erica the same ones to see HOW WELL SHE KNOWS HIM. She only had to eat 8 pieces of gum.

There was ONE BIG DISPUTE with the DATE OF THEIR FIRST KISS!!!!! Austin said the Oct 22nd technically since it was 3am and Erica said the 23rd and then later that night they made it official to be boyfriend and girlfriend, as you see the cell phone came out to look up the date-they will have to discuss it once she arrives in NY:)

Since the answer did not match Austin's she had another piece of gum to chew! What a trooper!

Then the gifts started!!!! This is for her wedding night according to the giver:) The rest is not allowed just in case Austin were to peak at the blog:)

Adriana (Austin's mom) and I are very proud mom's!!! Austin and Erica bring out the best in each other. We couldn't be more blessesd to have such a wonderful, loving young lady join our family and become our daughter in law. Erica and Austin are so amazing when they are together and their LOVE is so noticeable to anyone who is around them.

We LOVE YOU Erica and will miss you more then you know. Enjoy your time with Austin and keep him in check. And know WE ARE ALWAYS HERE FOR THE BOTH YOU:)

This is how the night ended: Gunner found one of the tissue flowers and shredded it, the evidence is on his lip!

Easter 2010!

You have to LOVE Easter morning's:) The kids found their baskets and took a bunny picture. Waiting for Austin to send me his picture. I will post it when I get it!

Visiting before the egg hunt and gardening party begins--

Hiding the eggs and finding the eggs! Jacob fell coming out of the house and didn't want to find any eggs. Kylee tried to give him one and he yelled at her:( "NO KYLEE"

All the kids are looking for 1 more egg. Kylee is standing right below it!!! It is a green egg, sitting on a leaf in the tree. We all got a kick out of watching them.

The SURPRISES of opening the eggs. Owen had four eggs in one! He loved it!

Kylee found money and Abbie had a snail in her egg--I bet you can guess which UNCLE thought of that------yep, Uncle Adie:/

Grammy made these CUTE rabbits for each of the kids gardens:)

Aunt Pepper and Uncle Dick brought this great big bunny Pinata, let the hitting begin!

There was some great Tongue Painters gum in the Pinata. Aaron had a HUGE bubble that was popped by our mom!

How blessed we are to have Jesus Christ in our lives and know and understand the sacrifice He made for each of our sins and so we can live with Him again one day!
