Another Creature at the Peyton Home!

So last night I was putting toothpaste on my toothbrush when something stung my foot!! I jumped grabbed my toe and looked down to see what kind of bug was in the house. To my SURPRISE it wasn't a bug! It was a CENTIPEDE=/

I yelled for Mike(who was sound asleep), he came running in, I said what the heck is it and why the heck is it in the bathroom!!! Mike kept trying to smash it with toilet paper, he wasn't going down easy----NOT FUN TO HAVE IN YOUR BATHROOM, now I feel I have to wear shoes!

Reminder of other wildlife we have had!

April Fool's=)

I usually so something for breakfast but didn't have it planned, so an after school snack, "fish sticks" and dessert for after dinner it will be today!

Jacob helped me made the fish sticks and was laughing the whole time and making a huge mess! They are wafer cookies covered lightly with peanut butter and then dipped in cracker crumbs!

Once they came home and looked at them and Kylee said, "Are the even cooked?" and Tyler looked at them and ate it and said, " oh Kylee you have to try it"! She didn't!

Then I went to get the mail! I walked in and said, "YAY! The brochure came today for the chore camp I was looking into for you guys for the summer! If you go it will help you love doing chores around the house, since it is such a problem for you". Kylee immediately said , "I don't do camps and I'm not going". Tyler was looking at it with me and said, "That would be fun". I continued to read the flyer and kylee is still yelling and then I said, "April Fool's" Kylee then yelled, "I don't do APRIL FOOL'S".

The yummy cake!! You are suppose to use a sponge but since I didn't have one I used the splatter guard from the microwave. Looks real to me=)

Roller Skating!

First I have no idea why this post is leaving huge gaps!! UGHHH!!! Last week we splurged and ALL got either roller skates or roller blades! We want to start doing this at least once a week with the kids, at a roller rink or taking them to Cal State and skating!

Kylee always used Austins roller blades at home to play on, so she had to get use to roller skates! She fell about 4 times the first time around and was done!

Jacob was the only one who did the Limbo!

Mike always adds a little more excitement!

Kylee got back on the floor and skated her little heart out. She had a blast! She can't wait to go back!

Then for the couples skate=) Tyler being a good older brother and friend, and Daddy/Daughter=)

Yes, I did get skates....make that roller blades. I had so much fun! I forgot what a workout it was!

Fun at the Park!

We walked to the park today and just hung out for a couple hours. The kids entertained me by jumping off the swings=)

and the finale!

Time to head home while they still have a little energy!

Family Time!

Tyler is using Austin's old roller blades and we found some at a Thrift Store for Jacob. Kylee felt a little left out...so I told her to tape the skateboards to her feet!! Not thinking she would, but....

When Mike got home we decided last minute to go to Ruby's for dinner and just walk around and hang out!

We had a great time!

Play School!

Kylee wants to be a teacher! She plays school with Jacob everyday and has parent teacher conferences with Mike and I. "Jacob has been acting up and not listening lately", wow that is a surprise. I asked if she is keeping him busy because he has a lot of energy. Hopefully this will never come true when he really starts school.

So this past week we had another friend join her group! Kylee was so excited and was dressed and ready to go at 7:15 am. Jadelyn arrived at 10:15. First was play time!

Then shaved ice for snack! Then the teacher let her hair down and got a little wild=)

Kylee is such a sweetheart!! She is soooo creative and thoughtful! I love my LITTLE GIRL!

4 Chicks!

We are currently babysitting 4 chicks until they get there feathers and can be moved into their coop at Grampy's house!!

We had to introduce them to Gunner!

But Gunner is our snuggler too, so he is never far away!
