Austin is Going to Haiti's!

Austin just got ordered to go to Haiti's for 3 day mission. Please pray for his safety as he jumps from the plane and brings the supplies to the people of Haiti's, and for a safe return home. This is his first mission as a Military Police. He leaves Tuesday. It will be a quick trip. I will keep you all posted about his return.

Gunner is Home!

So our sweet new little puppy is home. Mike held him on the way home. We surprised the kids with him when we picked them up from school. Tyler thought this was the best day ever!

After weeks of trying to pick a name, we finally came up with Gunner!! Austin's position in the Army-a Military Police Gunner, so it fits PERFECT!

Gunner is already ALL OVER Jacob! It is too cute!!

He loves his new toys, and went potty on his pee pad right off the bat--so hopefully that is a good sign:)

Tyler's Day!

Tyler woke up nice and early this morning! Kylee made him a birthday sign on her mirror with dry erase markers saying, "Happy Birthday" and 10 written all over it.

Tyler loves his BB gun. However, I had know idea how to work the thing, so I should of waited for Mike to be here for Tyler to open it.

I try to do birthday parties every other year for the kids. This year was a no party year. So on these years Mike and I do a one on one dinner with the birthday child. Tyler wanted to go Pet Smart to get some things for our puppy that we get next week. I think we are ready now!

Then off to dinner. We have never been to Logan's, so we thought we try it. Tyler was excited about eating peanuts and throwing them on the ground. He enjoyed his steak and shrimp too!

Then of course we still have to sing Happy Birthday and have cake and ice cream at home with Kylee and Jacob! and then the 10 spankings:)

We had a great time with Tyler. Good thing we got all that stuff for the puppy because we get to pick him up today (Friday) instead of next week:/

Happy 10th Birthday Tyler!

This sweet little guy is 10! Tyler is such a joy to have in our family. He is so enthusiastic about everything he does. He is doing extremely well in school-is in a play-"UP", he's a conflict manager, and plays the trumpet in the band. He is still dancing and will be adding 2 more classes next month for his June recital.

We hope he has a great day! We love you Tyler!!Happy Birthday!

I woke up to a nice breakfast. Pancakes that spelt:

An afternoon surprise thrown for me by Britney. She decorated her moms salon for me and had snacks and drinks ready for us, so sweet and thoughtful. Thank you Brit-love you:)

Then we had a leadership meeting for church and a dinner afterwards.

It was an awesome day!!!! Very relaxing and fun, and I only cried three times:)

Jacob's Birthday--What a Day:)

My sweet boy woke up sick. So we opened his gifts and off to the doctors we went. We went to the doctors for his second birthday too so I hope this isn't going to a ritual:(


After two breathing treatments and getting his oxygen level back up to 95% they finally let us go with a prescription for steroids, and continuing doing 3 breathing treatments a day at home:(

Since it was his birthday we went to Chuck E Cheese for an hour to play and Jacob lucked out that Chucky came out!!!

We came home and asked the neighbors if they would like to come sing "Happy Birthday" with us. These 2 couples are truly Jacobs best friends it is sooo cute.

Overall it was a good day. Now if he can just get better and stop coughing!
