Today is Read Across America and the kids are celebrating Dr. Seuss's Birthday. Therefore, they get to wear red, black and white and bring their favorite Dr. Seuss book. Tyler likes to go all out--white hair and black spots.

Jacob said, "Me", this is how cute he is when he wakes up!

GG'S Birthday & Valentine's Day!!!!

This is my beautiful and charming Grandma who just turned 92!!!! She is amazing and sooooo with it!! She remembers every grandchild and GREAT grandchild's birthday every year, has great stories to share, and just loves spending time with family.

Adam kept telling the kids to stop blowing the candles out, but as you see below he is the one blowing with a few others.(sorry Adam I caught you in the act).

That's right 1917, was the year she was born. Grandma, GG we had fun visiting and blowing out candles and reminiscing over your pictures--WE LOVE YOU!!!!!
It is not a full day at Grammy's and Grampy's without playing in the dirt!

On Friday night our church put on a Youth Movie Night from 5-9:30pm. While we watched the kids, which ranged from 6 months to 5th grade, their parents went out. It was so much fun!!!!

I was in charge of crafts and games! This is just a couple of the activities I planned. I made this Mrs. Valentine's for the kids to pin her lips on her. I took pictures of all the kids and they decorated these frames with Candy Hearts.

Boy, did we have a dance party after the games, pizza, crafts, and movie!!

You guessed it----YMCA!!
This is the group who put this all into action and controlled all the kids (34 in all). We had fun---now it's our turn to go out?
As for Valentine's Day we left the kids a little treat on the table. I made Heart shaped pancakes for the kids (I figured you all know what that looks like:))
I found these WONDERFUL LIPS SUCKERS!!!!!!

Tyler's Birthday is NOW Over!!!

Wow, Tyler has had one long Birthday week. We started off at Grammy's and Grampy's on Tues. (the day before his B-day) for cake and for him to open his present!!!!

Wednesday was his actual birthday, we woke up early to get him a haircut and thought it would be fun to have this 9 shaved in the back of his head!!!

Now he is ready to start the day!! Once we got home from the haircut, Tyler opened his gifts. He FINALLY got an iPOD. He has wanted one for the past two years. He was soooo excited!!

He went to school, I brought cookies from our family Bakery!! After school he went straight to Stacey's for a Photo Shoot!!!

This is the healthy Birthday meal Tyler wanted for dinner. Cheeseburgers, french fries and onion rings---YUM!!!

and another caked or triple chocolate brownie!!!!

On Thursday he had Minimum Day at school. He invited four friends to go Glow Golfing at the Ontario Mills.

Here's the WILD BUNCH!!
They had a BLAST!!!!
Then off to Round Table Pizza, I am sorry but they have the best pan pizza. A few video games...

and MORE cake--cupcakes!!!!
Now onto Sunday. Mike's sister Toots lives in Indio and she likes to have us down each year to have a special birthday for Tyler. She tells him to plan the menu and email it to her when he is done with it. He loves being involved in things like that. We had a great time visiting with family. Thank you all for all coming down to celebrate Tyler's 9th Birthday.
Guess what............MORE CAKE!!!!

Tyler definitely has a crazy side!!!!

Tyler also has a very SWEET side!!!

Tyler is full of energy, and enthusiasm about life. He loves school-he has received several academic, editors and attendance awards, so far. He has also has medals and trophies for gymnastics, sports, and dance. He is a great kid. Mike and I are his teachers at church and are amazed at the questions and understanding Tyler has about Christ.
