Ice-Blocking.....

Growing up we always went ice blocking at Heritage Park. So we took the kids and they loved it! We stopped at Staters and got 5 blocks of ice and off they went.

Jacob could only make it half way down so he went with Mike and he loved going fast!

Off to Aunt Peppers for the Day!!!!!

When the kids are off track we always go to visit Aunt Pepper and Uncle Dick

(or Nick as Jacob calls him).

We had hot dogs for lunch with yummy homemade potato salad. Then the kids were off to hit golf balls in the back yard.

Then off to the park. We stopped by this house that goes ALL OUT for Halloween:

Aunt Pepper and Uncle Dick thank you so much for having us. We had a blast. I am sure you had a GOOD NIGHT SLEEP after all that activity:)

Halloween Fun!!

Since the kids are off track we decided to carve our pumpkins Friday afternoon. It was weird not having Austin here. He was always so creative with his.

Jacob found the insides the most fun!

Then off to a birthday party for a friend-more family fun!

Kylee had a 8:45 game so off to the field early;)

The girls were so excited to spray their hair.

After the game we got a text from Austin and a picture. This is his Battle Buddy in full Rattle Gear as they call it. He is doing great. He has his phone so we talk to him almost every night.

Then went Trick or Treating with friends:

Tyler's Photography!

Tyler set up the stairways as a photography studio for Halloween pictures. After a ton of yelling at for Jacob recking the studio going back and forth on the stairs Tyler finally got some shots:

Jacob took this shot of Tyler and Erica stopped by and got suckered into a photo shoot!!

Then daddy came home from work, and it was his turn to pose for the camera!

Stacey if you ever need help or ideas for props my kids will be glad to help you!!!! Tyler actually said, "Stacey might be a little jealous or proud of us for coming up with this."

Kids Last Week of School!

This was the kids last week of school before going off track.

They had an awards assembly.

Kylee received a Citizenship and Perfect Attendance Awards.

Tyler received the Creative Writing and Outstanding PE awards.

The last day of school was fun for the kids. They did Christmas in October, so Tyler is dressed in festive colors. Then Kylee had to dress as her Favorite Storybook Character: Fancy Nancy.

Then a little Halloween party after the teacher presented reading awards to the class.

Now for the real fun to begin--home all day for 5 weeks. I need ideas to keep them busy!!!!!!

Then to end the night we went to a Halloween Party!

Field Trips and a Harvest Festival at School!

Tyler's class this past week went to Irvine Regional Animal Park. Tyler took a camera and got some great shots of the animals!

Kylee's class went to Greenspot Pumpkin Farm in Mentone. It is a little pumpkin patch hidden in the hills.

This is the ugliest pig, it reminded me of a troll!

Every year the kids school puts on a Harvest Festival. They play games and have costume parade (it was a little under planned this year:(!!
